ENGR. DR. OLUWASEUN YINKA ALABI, FNSE

Engr. Dr. Oluwaseun Yinka Alabi is a result-driven leader and a seasoned administrator with extensive experience in engineering, project, and facilities management. Oluwaseun has worked in several sectors such as health, insurance/reinsurance, financial and diplomatic organizations. He is finishing his Doctoral at the Atlantic International University, USA focussing on “structured project finance for infrastructure development in Africa.” Oluwaseun had his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from the prestigious University of Ilorin and Federal University of Technology, Akure respectively” and an MBA in Financial Risk Management. His passion for growth, impact and learning made him pursue several learning opportunities and certifications both locally and internationally. He has attended several conferences, leadership workshops, certificate courses and trainings within and outside Nigeria.

Oluwaseun is a holder of the following prestigious professional qualifications:

  • Fellow, Nigerian Society of Engineers – (FNSE).
  • Registered Engineer – Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

Engr. Alabi is currently the Head of Administration and Projects for African Export Import Bank, Anglophone West Africa where he leads the overall strategic, project and administrative activities. He is a project manager on behalf of the Bank leading multi-million dollars high-level project initiatives such as the Afreximbank African Trade Centre (AATC), African Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE) and African Quality Assurance Centre (AQAC) all aimed at improving Intra African Trade under the AfCFTA. Prior to joining Afreximbank, Oluwaseun was a Senior Maintenance Engineer with the African Reinsurance Corporation where he leads the facilities and project team of the African reinsurance organization.

He is a strong advocate of leadership development with passion for mentoring and developing young adults.

Engr. Alabi is happily married to Dr. (Mrs.) Toyin Dorcas Alabi.
